Description
Done on bristol with gouache and sumi ink. Based on a variety of Persian borders, with calligraphy inspired by the Mira Calligraphiae Monumenta. 
This was designed on one piece of bristol, which I made copies of. They were cut in half, so that the left side was folded up and slipped into the right side, which was folded into an envelope shape.
